This Returns & Refund Policy explains:

  • when you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair,
  • how returns are handled,
  • what is and is not covered.

This policy applies to all purchases made through www.avelinofficial.com, including orders shipped to Australia.

 

2. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW – YOUR RIGHTS

For customers located in Australia:

You are entitled to remedies under the Australian Consumer Law if the product you purchased:

  • is faulty or defective,
  • does not match the description, images, or sample shown,
  • is not of acceptable quality,
  • is not fit for its intended purpose.

These rights cannot be excluded or limited by our policies.

Depending on the issue, you may be entitled to:

  • a repair,
  • a replacement, or
  • a refund.

 

3. MAJOR VS MINOR FAULTS

Major failure

You may choose a refund or replacement if the product:

  • has a serious defect,

  • is unsafe,

  • is significantly different from its description,

  • cannot be reasonably fixed.

Minor failure

If the issue is minor, we may offer:

  • a repair, or

  • a replacement within a reasonable time.

 

4. CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

Unless required by Australian Consumer Law, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including but not limited to:

  • incorrect size or fit,
  • personal preference,
  • ordering the wrong item,
  • delays caused by customs or courier services,
  • normal wear and tear.

Please carefully review product descriptions and sizing information before placing your order.

 

5. CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS (IF APPLICABLE)

Where a return is accepted (e.g. faulty or incorrect item), the following conditions apply:

  • items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed,
  • items must be returned in original condition and packaging,
  • proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.

We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions, unless required by law.

 

6. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty under ACL:

  • items marked as Final Sale,
  • gift cards,
  • items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper care.

 

7. RETURN PROCESS

To request a return or refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Include:
    • your order number,
    • photos or videos clearly showing the issue (if applicable),
    • a short description of the problem.

We will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

 

8. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

  • If the item is faulty, incorrect, or defective, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
  • If a return is accepted outside ACL requirements (at our discretion), return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments.

 

9. REFUNDS

If a refund is approved:

  • refunds will be processed to the original payment method,
  • processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider,
  • original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless required by law.

 

10. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS & CUSTOMS

For international orders shipped to Australia:

  • customs duties, taxes, and import charges are non-refundable,

  • delays caused by customs authorities are outside our control.

 

11. EXCHANGES

We do not offer direct exchanges unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

If eligible, a replacement item will be sent once the original item is received and assessed.

 

12. MISUSE & FAIR USE

We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds if we detect:

  • excessive or abusive return behavior,
  • fraud or misuse of this policy.
